Brucher Thieltgen & Partners celebrates 20 years of growth and opens a new chapter

Twenty years after its founding, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners is entering a new chapter in its history. Now a multidisciplinary law firm bringing together nearly 60 professionals, the firm is celebrating two decades of sustained growth, driven by the development of its expertise, the structuring of its organisation, the expansion of its premises and a renewed brand identity.

Luxembourg, September 2026 – On 17 September, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners celebrated its 20th anniversary alongside nearly 200 clients, partners, fellow lawyers and team members gathered in the gardens of the firm.

The firm’s story began at the end of 2005, when Jean Brucher, Marie Bena and Nicolas Thieltgen left a US law firm together to build their own project in Luxembourg. Brucher & Associés was founded in 2006, before becoming Brucher Thieltgen & Partners in 2010.

Nicolas Bernardy joined the firm in 2006 as a Junior Associate and became a Partner ten years later. His career within the firm reflects an essential part of its story: growth built not only through expansion, but also by supporting the long-term development of its people. This approach continued with Anne-Marie Ka, who became a Partner in 2023, followed by Philippe Sylvestre in 2024.

Over the years, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners has broadened its areas of expertise, strengthened its teams and advised an increasingly international client base on ever more complex matters. The arrival of Alexandre Gas as Executive Director in 2018 also marked an important milestone, with the gradual development of the firm’s various support functions to accompany its growth and continued professionalisation.

Today, the firm brings together nearly 60 professionals. This evolution is also reflected in its premises. Based since 2022 at 16 and 18 boulevard Emmanuel Servais, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners has recently expanded into number 20, further strengthening its presence in the heart of Luxembourg and creating additional capacity to support the next stages of its development.

“Over the past twenty years, the firm has evolved considerably, but our ambition remains unchanged: to continue growing without losing the proximity, high standards and human dimension that define who we are. Above all, this anniversary celebrates the women and men who have helped build the firm, the relationships we have developed over the years and the trust our clients place in us.” – Nicolas Thieltgen, Managing Partner

This twentieth anniversary also marks the introduction of a new visual identity, designed to more accurately reflect the firm Brucher Thieltgen & Partners has become. The new symbol brings together the letters B, T and P in a contemporary design, while the green historically associated with the firm now forms part of an enriched visual universe featuring new shades and a touch of yellow.

As part of the rebranding, the firm has also launched its new website, btplawyers.lu, which has been completely redesigned to better showcase its expertise, teams and culture, while providing a clearer presentation of its positioning for both Luxembourg and international clients.

To celebrate its first twenty years, the firm chose the theme “The Art of Connection”, reflecting the professional and human relationships that have shaped its history. During the evening, an artist created a live artwork, while twenty pieces retracing twenty years of memorable moments, personalities and anecdotes were presented to the guests.

Through this celebration, Brucher Thieltgen & Partners sought to highlight that the story of a law firm is measured not only by its growth, its matters or its results, but also by the quality of the relationships it builds, nurtures and passes on over time.
